Abstract

The problem of low student learning outcomes at MAN Kota Solok is one of the main factors behind the implementation of this research. One of the contributing factors is the limited variety and attractiveness of the teaching materials used. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Electronic Student Worksheet based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving student learning outcomes. This research employed a quasi-experimental approach using a Posttest-Only Control Design involving two groups: an experimental group utilizing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Electronic Student Worksheet and a control group using the standard Student Worksheet provided by the school. Data were gathered through cognitive posttests and psychomotor evaluations conducted during the learning process. The analysis revealed that the experimental group achieved higher average scores in both cognitive and psychomotor domains compared to the control group. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing showed that the calculated t-value exceeded the critical t-value, signifying a significant difference between the two groups. These results suggest that implementing the PBL based Electronic Student Worksheet effectively enhances student learning outcomes. This study also contributes to the advancement of innovative digital learning resources that not only foster student engagement but also promote deeper and more meaningful conceptual understanding.
